It may be my imagination, but I beleive that chickens who are free to roam the farm yard eating the bugs, slugs and grasses give the best eggs.
A friend of mine in Sointula has about 30 chickens and once in awhile she gives me a dozen of these little gems. Not only are they delicious, the shells are quite beautiful.
